These poor shoes could not have been more heavily worn! They were bought two years ago when I began to walk an hour each way to work. I have worn them for nine hours a day (at least!) five days a week in term time. The leather has moulded beautifully to the shape of my foot, and they are so comfortable that I loved wearing them, even on days when it was over 30 degrees in my classroom! Sadly, the soles are now coming apart and the leather inside the heel has completely rubbed away, so I'm going to have to part with them...
