From my earliest memories, I've carried a self-consciousness about the size of my feet, a trait constantly brought to my attention by family members. By age 8, I was already squeezing into women's size shoes, eventually reaching a size 11 in women's US by the time I turned 13. Growing into these larger-than-average feet proved to be no easy feat.

The struggle became apparent early on. By the age of 5, the shoes I desired were consistently unavailable in my size, leaving me with limited and less stylish options compared to my peers. The cute and trendy shoes that were a fashion statement for girls my age became a luxury I couldn't partake in. Sneakers became my go-to, though affording the latest and freshest pairs posed a challenge for my family.

Navigating school life proved to be a daily challenge. Labeled a giant, I stood out in every imaginable way. Physically more developed than my peers, I became a conspicuous figure, with my feet becoming the primary target for ridicule amidst daily taunts. Despite these challenges, I found my own path and learned to embrace my uniqueness.

As high school approached, comments about my feet began to fade, but my self-consciousness persisted. I believed that the length of my feet equated to their ugliness, leading me to try painting my toes to counteract the deep-seated dysmorphia. While this ritual provided a slight boost to my confidence, an internal voice persisted, whispering, "You know you have man feet."

In hindsight, aside from a brief encounter with toe fungus from the bacteria-infested school pool water during swim week, my feet were far from ugly. Fast forward about two years, like many teenagers in the early 2010s, I ventured onto Omegle to meet random people. I got matched with a guy who asked about my height and requested to see my feet. Skeptical yet intrigued, I decided to go along with it, painting my toes sparkly red, my favorite color to complement my skin tone. To my surprise, he spent a solid 30 minutes complimenting my feet and eventually asked for feet pictures in exchange for Amazon gift cards.

Despite initial hesitation and confusion about the request for pictures of what I perceived as "manly" feet, I agreed. When I asked him about his interest, he simply replied that my feet looked nice and my toes appeared soft. He even expressed a desire to serve me and provide anything I wanted, opening up a new world that I never knew I would come to love. And so, my journey continues to this day.
