These didn't start as something special. They became it.

Thrifted, taken apart, and rebuilt by hand. I punched every hole myself, threaded the lacing myself, stitched the skull charm into the bow at the back myself. Under-knee, heeled, black. The kind of boot that announces something before you've said a word.

They've been on cobblestones in countries I flew to. Different cities, different floors, different nights. All of them worth remembering. The leather carries all of it.

Size 38. One of a kind. Not because nothing else looks like them, because nothing else is them.

They're part of my graduation fund.
Whoever takes them home is sending me into the next chapter. I think thats a worthy exchange.
