These boots have been with me through everything — my proper horse‑girl Cinderella slippers.

I’ve worn them every single day for yard chores, mucking out, filling haynets, pushing wheelbarrows, carrying water, and wandering around the fields in all weathers.

They’ve kept my feet toasty through winter and I’ve even worn them with shorts in the summer. They’re well‑used, well‑loved, and have that authentic, well‑worn yard smell you’d expect from boots that have lived a full horse‑girl life.

Time for me to get a new pair… but these ones are far too sentimental (and far too “well‑worn”) to send to the charity shop.
