Something happened last night and it really hit home. I don’t have a tumble dryer so I go to the launderette to dry my towels and bedding. I went this evening and as I was putting my stuff in the dryer I could hear a mum talking to her little g1rl. This could be a long post but I’m gonna just give the facts. The outcome of the conversation was that Santa has lots of little people to buy for so there might not be so many gifts. Then this is the bit that done me in. The little g1rl said that she had been extra good since daddy went to heaven! 🥺 Obviously her mum reassured her that Santa knew that. It got me big time not gonna lie. Tesco is only 5 minutes from the launderette so without saying anything I got a selection box for the little g1rl and 2 £50 love to shop vouchers to help the mum out. The little g1rl was over the moon with her little gift and mum (and me) cried when I gave her the gift cards. The reason I’m sharing this is because Christmas is different for everyone and you never know what people are going through. I thought about the amount of gifts I’ve bought for my family and I couldn’t hear that and not help her out. Be kind to each other and to others over the festive season you lovely lot, give those you love an extra tight cuddle🩷
