Seller Faceless, Curvy and Still Figuring It Out: My First 2 Months On All Things Worn

Starting out on All Things Worn has honestly been a mix of excitement, curiosity… and a lot of “am I doing this right?” moments.

I’ve been here for nearly two months now. I’m faceless, curvy, and still very much figuring things out as I go. When I first joined, I had no idea what to expect. I remember scrolling through profiles thinking everyone looked so put together, like they had it all worked out… and then there was me, staring at my screen wondering where to even start.

If you’re new and feeling like that too, you’re definitely not alone!

Being Faceless. My Comfort Zone (and My Challenge)

One of the first decisions I made was to stay faceless. For me, it just felt more comfortable. It gives me a sense of privacy and confidence that I didn’t think I’d have otherwise.

But I won’t lie, it comes with its own challenges.

When you don’t show your face, you have to find other ways to stand out. Sometimes I’ve wondered if people scroll past me because I’m a bit more mysterious, but at the same time… I kind of like that. There’s something about leaving a little to the imagination that feels quietly powerful.

I’m learning to lean into it rather than see it as a disadvantage.

Trying to Get Seen (and Not Overthinking It… too much)

One of the hardest parts so far has been visibility.

You post, you wait, you refresh… then you repeat and sometimes it feels like nothing’s happening. I’ve definitely had moments where I’ve thought, “Is this even being seen by anyone?”

I’ve tried to stay consistent, tweak my listings, add new ones and just keep showing up even when it feels a bit slow. Some days feel more encouraging than others, but I’m starting to realise that not everything happens instantly here.

And honestly, I think overthinking it too much can make it worse. I’ve had to remind myself to just keep going and not disappear when things feel quiet.

My First Sales.

So far, I’ve made five sales.

It might not sound like loads, but to me, each one is a win. Not only because of the sale itself, but because those were real people choosing to trust me with what they wanted when I’m still new here, and trusting me to do it properly.

I completely understand that, as a buyer, it can feel a little uncertain going to someone without loads of reviews or experience yet but please remember everyone starts somewhere. So the fact that those five people took that step, trusted me, and had a positive experience honestly means a lot.

What I’ve noticed is that interest doesn’t always look obvious at first. Sometimes it’s quiet, sometimes it builds slowly, and sometimes it comes out of nowhere when you least expect it.

And those moments have definitely kept me motivated.

Learning About Buyers (and My Own Boundaries)

Something I didn’t fully expect was how different interactions can feel.

Some people are just passing through, some want to chat for a while, some know exactly what they’re looking for, and some take their time, sit on things for a bit, and then come back later. Learning to recognise those differences has helped me approach things in a way that feels more natural and less pressured.

I’ve also realised how important it is to have clear boundaries and stick to what feels right for me. Being kind and genuine doesn’t mean overextending yourself and the right people will always respect that.

If anything, having that balance has made me feel more confident, not less.

What I’m Still Figuring Out.

If I’m being completely honest… a lot.

I’m still figuring out what works, what doesn’t, what people are drawn to, how to grow, and how to stand out in a way that still feels like me. Some days I feel like I’m getting the hang of it, and other days I feel like I’m back at the beginning again.

I’m learning that not every post will hit, not every moment will feel productive, not everyday will bring sales and not everything needs to be overthought or perfected. Sometimes it’s just about showing up, being consistent, having faith and letting things build naturally over time.

I’m not trying to be perfect here. I’m just trying to find my own rhythm, be myself, and enjoy the process along the way.

If You’re New Like Me…

Don’t let the polished profiles make you feel like you’re behind.

I’ve had moments where I’ve genuinely thought, “I’m never going to get anywhere with this.” Especially when you see so many beautiful, confident sellers doing amazing and it makes you question why anyone would even notice you.

But I’ve quickly learned that there really is a place for everyone here and not everything happens at the same pace.

Some people come on here and do amazing straight away, and for others it just takes a little more time. That doesn’t mean you’re doing anything wrong, and it definitely doesn’t mean you won’t get there.

Try not to let that feeling demotivate you.

We all start somewhere.

Whether you’re faceless, curvy, quiet, confident or somewhere in between there’s space for you here. You don’t have to rush it, and you don’t have to be exactly like anyone else to find your place.

I’m still at the start of my journey, and I actually kind of like that. It feels like everything is still building, still growing, still becoming something.

If you’ve come across my profile, you’re seeing me in these early stages… and there’s something quite exciting about that.

I’m just taking it one step at a time, learning as I go, and seeing where it all leads and I can’t wait to carry on this journey, grow on the platform, and build something that people genuinely want to come back to.
