I've been a premium member and a diamond member seller for over six months now. I've come across some good interactions and some bad ones as many sellers have experienced. It's just life plain and simple.
There are buyers who are on this site to make a purchase and some that just want to have someone to talk to. Thankfully, most of my interactions have been good ones. I find that whether you're selling items, videos, pictures, or any other creative things, you've discovered a way to fulfill the buyer's wants or needs.
I think all buyers want a connection with the seller. Sometimes that's hard to do when you have some negative messages coming at you from those who have no intent on buying, but I find it's always best to show them you want to make that purchase a personal one. One that they remember when they sort through all the items they might have purchased over time. One that will make them remember you and that nice, kind, caring message you sent, or the one where they reached out to you and your reply really stood out to them.
Everyone is unique and has their own style of communication, and I find it's always important to figure out what the buyer's style is. Some might be sweet, some might be flirty, some might already know what they want, and some need suggestions about what you have to offer. Some sellers have a lot more content and items to offer, which can be overwhelming to sort through, so this is where the connection comes in. That expression of how you want your item to be personal matters—because, let's face it, these are very personal items the buyer is spending their money on.
What buyer wouldn't want the memory of that conversation you had, and how it makes it that much nicer when your personal item arrives? And how rewarding to know that they smiled when they opened their mailbox to find that special something that means a little more to them than you might think ❤️
