When I first joined All Things Worn, I spent a lot of time looking around, talking to other sellers and getting a feel for what was on offer here and one thing I didn’t see a lot of but was asked very frequently if I offered was JOI.

It took me a little while into my ATW journey to be confident enough to try it and I am so glad I decided to dive into this world of JOI because it’s been fun and something I enjoy more than I thought I would!

I started off watching some porn, I watched video after video of JOI on pornhub until I fully understood it enough to say yes to my first JOI request. I think for me, one of the best things about ATW is it gives you the confidence to try new things. In my day to day life I was more submissive but doing my first JOI allowed me to explore my more dominant side and I loved it. It gave me confidence even in my own relationship and before long he was being restrained. Honestly, I put this down to exploring my more dominant side through ATW!

So What is JOI?

JOI stands for Jerk Off Instruction. It is a fairly common kink. It is where you will instruct the buyer on how to jerk off. There are some slight variations to JOI. Such as JOE - jerk off encouragement which is less about instruction and more about being a helping hand and positive stimulation as they m*sturb*te.

There is also JOI humiliation, you might instruct the buyer to do various humiliating things whilst they jerk off, you might call them names, make fun of their small little d*cks and generally make it humiliating and degrading. You will have a conversation with the buyer about what sort of JOI they are looking for before you get started creating it!

Depending on what sort of JOI you are doing also depends on the instruction or encouragement they are receiving. For instance, I do quite a lot of JOI audio clips, these are fun to do but obviously, the buyer doesn’t have a visual of you so it’s all about the voice and what you are saying whereas in a JOI video, they can see you, you can instruct whilst using your body as encouragement!

Basic JOI I find I do the most of and it’s all about guiding them through their masturbation from beginning to climax.

I would say my biggest advice is to talk to the buyer, don’t be afraid to ask questions to make it perfect for them and exactly the experience they are looking for. And some might not even want you to be dominant, for a more submissive JOI you could take on a more nurturing role, offer kindness and comfort as you instruct them to jerk off for you.

There really are a lot of variations to this kink so get to know a bit about all of them and have that important discussion with your buyer to make sure you know exactly what they want before starting.

With your standard dominant JOI, my advice would be to be confident first and foremost, don’t ask them, tell them. Be in control, tell them what to do, what to touch and not to touch, when to go fast and slow down, tell them to play with their balls or other body parts if that’s something he is into.

If you are just starting out, try writing out your own JOI script and practice saying it, get a feel for saying it and what feels right to say and do.

You will soon find your own twist on things and be giving out JOI’s with confidence and in your own style! Have fun with it!
