How To Remain Safe & Anonymous as a Seller/Buyer of Used Items

Hi everyone!

First of all, I’d like to introduce myself. My name is Luna or @LunaxBaby on All Things Worn. I’m a non-nudity seller who mostly focuses on feet photos, and doing things in and out of my comfort zone.

I have learned a lot about myself since joining and I have been Top Seller Of The Month in both February and March. And Top Seller of the Week a few times. I joined about 3 months ago and I’ve had plenty of experiences including the good, bad and the ugly.

I wanted to shed a little light on the importance of remaining safe on this site, whether you’re a new seller, buyer or a veteran seller!

I’ve had a few scary experiences on here due to not being safe ENOUGH! So I wanna tell you guys some important ways to stay safe.

Staying safe on this site is important. Not just for the typical reasons but if you feel safe and secure on here, you will be more likely to have fun with what you’re doing and not be afraid to try new things!

Sellers; Firstly, I would like to mention that I DO have my face present on my profile, but that’s because I’m a non-nudity seller, so typically I’m not scared of leaks. But if you’d like to protect your identity, it is OKAY to avoid face selling!!!

Protect Your Identity

Secondly, please please PLEASE make an alias account. Use a name that does not involve your real name at all, where people cannot find you if they try.

I would also like to mention the importance of making a fake name on your payment methods, such as PayPal, Cashapp, etc. Paypal is a tricky one, but I managed to do it. If this is your preferred payment method please make sure your location, address, and telephone number are not present on your profile.

Thirdly, giving out your email. I made a mistake, I had a buyer who was interested in purchasing something and he preferred to chat via email. I agreed. He has not stopped harassing me, making different emails to contact me, no matter what I say. Please don’t feel the need to give out your email, it’s very unsafe. Only give it to buyers you’ve worked with and people you ACTUALLY trust!

Always Get Proof of Postage!

I’d also like to mention providing tracking numbers to avoid bad reviews and scams. I’ve had one issue with this when I first started on this site, he told me he hadn’t received the package although I had sent him “proof of send” and he was angry, it was understandable. I gave him a full refund and after that, he did receive them! So please make sure you are able to ship safely! Also, please make sure that your address or direct location is not visible on your shipping labels.

Let’s shed some light on BUYER's safety as well! You guys have it hard sometimes, physically giving your addresses out is a risky thing.

Let’s begin with addresses and name discreetness; if you purchase quite frequently from this site I would absolutely recommend a P.O. box! It is safer than giving out your address but to each their own!

Using an Alias; Just like sellers, it’s important to remain anonymous, if you are worried about scams, or harassment. I would recommend using a fake name on your profile and only feel free to ID verify yourself if you feel comfortable with it.

Choose Who You Work With

Be cautious of working with some “Non-Verified” sellers. As I’ve mentioned before some sellers just have that preference but they’ve been legit during transactions and have never had a bad review. But if a seller is "Non-Verified" with no reviews, you may wish to use your own judgement

I’d like to recommend getting to know your seller first (don’t cross any lines though) and make sure this is someone you’d be willing to pay and give your address to.

I would also like to mention that it’s important that if you wish to be anonymous and feel more secure, you may also make some alias payment methods, I know that some buyers prefer to use Amazon Gift Cards as well which is a very safe one!

I’d also like to mention that many fake profiles join this site, please never click on any links, or add anyone on Kik before receiving payment. This is just a trick I’ve learned to avoid time wasters and scammers.

If you have any issues All Things Worn have an amazing Admin Team, they are always willing to help and they are very kind throughout the process. If you feel uncomfortable working with someone, trust your gut, and don’t do it, so it doesn’t lead to issues in the future!

I hope this helps some of you guys and I’m hoping you all are being safe, and anonymous. Keep up the amazing work and spread love, and kindness. Thanks so much for reading!
