Seller Tips For Sellers
How to Start Selling on ATW

I know it can be exhausting spending every single minute of your day checking if any buyers have messaged you or if you have made any sales. Especially if you are a beginner, sometimes you can feel overwhelmed if you compare yourself to a top seller on here with 200+ reviews and then, you ask yourself “Why can’t I do that?”. However, you don’t need to be a professional to start selling on ATW, just follow my tips and I promise that it’s not rocket science!

1. Page Presentation

One of the most important things to do when you start your account is to make your page pop from the lot. By that, I mean choosing a sexy and mysterious profile picture and choosing an aesthetic that fits your personality. For me, as an example, my username on here is Tattooedbarbie2005 so to fit my name and my vibe, everything in my shop is cute, girly and pink but I also go into goth stuff since I am heavily tattooed. Finding your own and unique aesthetic will help you a lot when it comes to remembering you. When adding new products to your shop and it posts on the feed, everyone that has seen your page or is following you must remember you.

Having an interesting and complete bio is also a very important thing if you want buyers to contact you and make sales in general. Like I said before, you need to pop from the lot, so don’t copy and paste another seller’s bio or steal anything from them. You need to come up with your own and put some of your guts in it. There is no one-sized follow guide to write the perfect bio but there is some information that NEEDS to be in there to make it great. For example, a bullet point list of the products you are offering is very important because buyers will be able to know what you sell without wasting their time messaging hundreds of sellers to finally find what they were looking for. Make it clear that you provide those services and you’ll spend less time answering messages from buyers asking if you offer this and that. The opposite, which means your limits, are also important information to add to your bio because of the same reasons I've mentioned before. Your limits are personal to you and they should always be respected. You should never do something you’re not completely comfortable doing, so those boundaries are a great reminder for you and the buyers. To finish, adding a little bit about you in your bio is not a bad idea because it allows buyers to feel a certain connection with you if you have any common interests. It is not obligatory to write about your passions and interests, it can only be your basic body info like your bra, sock, shoe and panty sizes. That kind of information helps the buyers to see if you have any prominent features that they are looking for.

2. What to Sell & How to Price Items

You can literally sell everything that you already have, so there is no need to invest in new lingerie sets or panties when you are freshly starting. Actually, the more used your item, the better. The only thing you must keep in mind is that everybody has their own fetishes and kinks so the more products you have in your shop, the better. On the other hand, some types of panties or specific products tends to be more popular than others, so keep that in mind. By example, I would say that thong and full coverage are the most wanted type of panties in my experiences and custom content like videos and pictures are very popular too.

On ATW, there is 2 big categories for products: Digital content and physical items. Digital content is everything that you are selling online only like pictures, videos, audios, sexting and more. These types of products don’t have shipping fees associated with them so they are usually bought from buyers all around the world. On the other hand, physical items, which means everything shippable like panties, socks, bras, vials and much more, are usually sold to buyers living in the same country as yours. Don’t get me wrong, you can also ship internationally your physical items but the shipping fees may be a little higher.

Talking about prices, you need to understand that there are not such things as overpriced items. The way you price your things only concerns you and your value of time and money so don’t let anybody tell you the opposite. I understand that it could be difficult to put a price on an item when you are first starting, that’s why I recommend you to go and have a look at some other seller's profile out here and see the average prices for the same items you want to list. That way, you have an idea of how much it sells. If you are a very beginner, you could choose to start at lower prices since you must build yourself a reputation and a name, but again it is not obligatory to start lower if you are confident in your pricing. Many things must be considered when you are putting a price on an item. Some factors that will increase the price of your items are add-ons. Those little guys make your products customizable and buyers crave that! Some examples of add-ons can be: Extra days, no shower, solo play, after sex and much more. Be creative! Keep in mind that you need to find a base line for your items (what is included originally) and then you can offer add-ons that are going to increase the price of your item. To conclude, there is no standard price for the things you are selling, you just need to respect yourself and be confident about what you are selling. Always respect yourself and never give away free things just because you feel like you have to. Yes, freebies are always a great thing to add in your order but only if the buyer has already bought you something.

3. Sellers & Buyers Communication

It is now time to talk about how to communicate well with buyers when you want to succeed at selling on here. The very first thing to do is to learn how to say no respectfully to any requests that feels like too much to get done. Remember that your self-respect and mental health is a priority. Another thing to learn is to find the perfect balance between professional and sexy talking. You don’t want to give away free sexting session but you don’t want to seem like a robot either.

Pushing a sell to a buyer will NOT help you make any sales on here. It is important to treat buyers respectfully since they are real human being and not just a virtual bank. Yes, some buyers prefer to be messaged first but that doesn’t mean you have to force them into buying your stuff. Trust me, you’ll only get reported or blocked. Instead of messaging every buyer out there with a copy paste premade message, try to search up for buyers with the same interests as you. If you offer mostly used bras and crop tops, look for a buyer that seems interested in that. I know a lot of buyers don’t have anything in their bio but some of them do and it is a good idea to read it. ATW have an amazing search program. By only clicking on the 3 lines at the top of the page, you have access to a lot of options, such as “Browse buyers”. When you’re clicking on it, it will direct you to the list of all the buyers on here sorted by top ranked. Then, if you look the side, you’ll have some filters like: Gender, country, verified, looking for etc. Those filters will help you a lot when you’ll search for potential buyers.

Some sellers never contact any buyers first and that is totally fine too! Waiting for a buyer to contact you when they are interested in something in you shop is the usual way to work, especially if you are new to this. There are some pros and cons like in everything but I would say that if you are more of an introvert or simply new on here, it could be the best option for you. Letting the buyers message you first is a great idea if you are scared to seem pushy, but it is not that easy either. Just be yourself and guide the discussion where you want it to go.

4. Packaging & Shipping

Unfortunately, when you make a sale, your order doesn’t just fly away to the buyer’s house. You must pack it and send it to the recipient yourself. Don’t worry, it is not that complicated, you just need to know the basics!

For the packaging step, you must invest a little money if you want quality products. What the buyers are looking for is freshness and strong scent so it is very important that your smell and wetness stays during the shipping time. For that, investing in a vacuum sealer or waterproof bags that you can airtight, is the best thing you could do. Make sure that all your juice is kept in there that’s what makes the buyers coming back for more. If you are shipping fragile items like anything made from glass, make sure to pack it in a bubble mailer to prevent it from breaking during shipping. Now, on the aesthetic side of the packaging, like I said for your page preparation, you need to find your aesthetic. For myself, since I have a pink theme, my bubble mailers are all pink and my airtight bags are cute and glossy. Try to make your package as pretty as possible while keeping it discreet. By discreet I mean don’t add anything outside of the package like stickers or hand writing note. Keep the outside low profile and professional. Including some freebies like a handwritten note, lipstick stains or polaroid pictures can improve the quality of your order and the satisfaction of your buyers. So be creative and show some love to your customers!

A question that I see often is: “Do you charge for shipping?”. Well, this is up to you but personally I do. I feel like since I am putting a lot of effort into the packaging and the item in general, it is the least a buyer can do to get my products. If you are not really used to shipping orders, you can charge the shipping separately, then you don’t have to stress about your profit margin. On the other hand, if you are starting to get comfortable shipping orders and you’ve started to know the shipping fees depending on the country, you can include the shipping in your prices. By example, instead of selling your panties $25 + shipping, you could sell them $35 if you know that the average national shipping fees are 10$. This way buyers know exactly how they are going to pay and seeing the sentence “Free shipping” can really attract buyers. There are a lot of shipping companies available out there so chose the one that feels right for you depending on where you are located.

When it will be time for shipping, you’ll have to go to your post office to get your shipping label done or invest in a sticker printer to do them yourself. Both ways, you’ll have to know the complete address of the recipient, their name and the returning address. Your personal information MUST remain private. Never put your real address as the returning address on the package if you want to remain anonymous or just to protect your personal life. Instead, you can get a PO box or like I do, use the recipient address as the returning address too. That way, you can’t get tracked down.

Conclusion

In conclusion, there is no need to consistently compare yourself to other seller on here. If you want to succeed selling on ATW, you’ll achieve it by putting in effort and time. I hope that this crunched blog about how to start selling on ATW will help answer some of your questions. Also, I am planning on writing more blogs, about the same categories but I’ll go into them in detail and share some helpful tips with you. Let me know in the comments what you would like to read first and I’ll write about the subject that come back the most in the comment section.
