Red flags for buyers
Let’s set the scene. You’ve finally plucked up the courage and set up a buyer account here, you’re getting settled in and familiarising yourself with the site and how it works, and you excitedly approach a seller who’s caught your eye. You have a conversation about your first order, everything seems great, you send the money, and then nothing.. no content/further messages, no tracking details, it’s is as if the seller has vanished into thin air.
Despite all the great efforts that the site team make to keep everyone safe, this kind of thing does still happen. I thought I’d share a short guide on what you can do to minimise the chances of this happening.
I’m well aware some sellers may frown/disagree with some of these tips, but they’re not written as a gospel where if a seller displays it (or not) they’re automatically classed as a seller to avoid.
1. The basics
I’m not talking about the fun stuff like the pictures and links to other socials, you should start observing from the first contact.
* Are they a premium seller? If so, this means they’ve paid to be a member of the selling community. It also means they can message you back on the site
* Are they ID verified? If so this means adm1n have vouched for them as a real human so they’re not going to be a bot account. No guarantee, but it may help give you comfort. If you’re not comfortable most legit sellers would be happy to do some kind of verification, within reason
* When you message do they have the orange Report3d! flag - this means 3 people have filed a r3port to admin. It may be for something relatively basic like too much graphic detail on the dashboard, but may also be an indicator that buyers have had a hard time getting what they asked for
2. Review the reviews
The review section can be a very helpful way of getting comfortable, for a variety of reasons.
* If they’re not a 5* seller then find the r3views that contribute to this and read them. One bad r3view does not make a bad seller. Consider asking the buyer and seller for their sides of the story
* Does their length of time they’ve been on the site stack up with the number of r3views? Maybe they had some time away. Maybe they work with a small number of buyers on a regular basis rather than lots of different buyers. But 3 years on the site with 0 orders may not stack up. Similarly 1 week with 25 reviews may also appear unusual.
* Who has r3viewed them? Seeing lots of ‘deleted user’ r3views is more an indicator of the number of buyers who’ve deleted their accounts. However if a number of their r3viewers have the basic buyer profile and have a 1 word 5* review from the seller you’re looking at and no other signs of life here, this may be a warning
3. The profile
If everything is looking good, there may be a few things you might want to check before opening a conversation:
* Have they got listings and/or instant content up or are these sections blank? Sometimes you see a girl whose profile literally just says - “message me on sn4p/t3le:
@us3rname69”. You go offsite and you’ll lose any protection from the admins here
* Double check that all the listings are in a currency that you’d expect from the country the seller is from
* Payment methods - some sellers legitimately like to protect their identity. It may be that the payment method doesn’t need a human name, or it might be their real name. If it’s “a friend” or “my boyfriend” this could be a potential red flag that it’s stolen content being resold by a guy. But not always. Trust your gut.
* Some girls will say “no refunds”. It is a well-used trick by sc4mmers to offer a wide range of services and then when they fail to provide what you’ve asked for will then try and give you something like a G drive of (presumably) st0len content to try and stop you complaining
* Have they got the shopping trolley/cart icon when you open up a message? This means they have completed orders with buyers on the site
* The pictures - obviously a girl will want to look her best and put a few pictures up which show off her best sides. Use your judgement - if they look a little too good then consider doing a reverse image search to see if they’ve been lifted from the internet
4. Next steps
If everything is looking good then there are just a few more things to be watchful of as you progress your order:
* Always insist on an order being set up once you’ve agreed what/when/how much is being provided. This way you can leave each other r3views. If a seller is reluctant then this may be an indication to be wary of
* Personally, a response of “how much would you be prepared to pay”/“how much did you pay for this last time” makes me nervous. For unv3rified/newer sellers a comment of ‘it’s my boyfriend’s PayPal’ also makes me think twice.
* Sometimes if a girl is too quick to slash prices if you’ve said she’s out of your budget this can be a flag. Most girls will either accept no sale or try and offer compromise, but slashing their first number in half? That’d make me nervous.
* Always agree the timeline/method/payment method that’ll be used. No good going for a sexting session on Sn4pchat immediately after you’ve agreed payment if she only uses What5App, doesn’t have a payment method you use and is only free on Sunday mornings between 10-11
As with everything- trust your gut feeling and if something doesn’t feel right, give it 24 hours and see if you feel the same way
