Hey there! MommiMai here to go over what it’s like to be a stay-at-home mom and get into the world of sex work! I’ve been here a little over a month now, so I figured it would be a good idea to share my experiences so far.

I’d like to start with how much fun I’ve had since joining. The community is great, and I love getting to know the other sellers and the buyers!

I wanted to write this blog because I felt like it would be a great outlet to explain why I charge for certain add-ons when another seller might not. Why I don’t do live content. Why I need 24-72hrs to complete a custom, even if I’m not working on other sales.

If you’ve ever read my profile, you know that I can type a lot, and this will be no different! So be prepared folks, this will be a long one.

Does Hubby Know?

Yes! When I finally told him I was interested in trying to sell used panties and such, he asked why I hadn’t started sooner. He is super supportive and has allowed me to drag him into this just a bit, but not too much. This is my hobby, not his. :)

Making Content with a Toddler Around

As I’ve stated, I’m a stay-at-home mom. What I haven’t specified is that I’m a mom to a toddler. If you’ve ever parented or watched a toddler, you know just how demanding they can be! There are some days I can turn educational tv on and he’ll be occupied for hours, but most days his entertainment is my priority.

In order to make content, I need to be alone, or as alone as I can get. This is a difficult task to achieve. I don’t bother with live content of any kind because having a toddler is unpredictable. He could be happy playing with legos one minute, then the next he’s up my butt screaming for me to pick him up.

I’m sure nobody wants to be mid-session and hear my toddler screaming. It’d be incredibly unprofessional and such a turn-off. (It’s part of the reason why in the one package where I do allow a Zoom meeting, my end is both muted and without camera access.)

If I’m recording a video, I can always edit out any talking or noises my toddler makes during filming. If I’m taking pictures, I can always angle him or his toys out of the shot.

The majority of my content is filmed in the evenings or on the weekends when his dad is home to help watch him.

I make it clear that it may take me anywhere from 24-72hrs to complete custom content due to the reasons stated above. I love creating content, but I’m not always able to do it immediately, and I might have to stop in between to tend to my child. I do my best to get things out in a timely manner, and I always make sure to give plenty of updates.

Time Management and Priorities

One of the biggest things about doing this with a toddler is managing my time well and keeping my priorities sorted. My child is always a priority. If he wants me to get off my phone to read him a book, I’m getting off my phone. I may finish typing something first, but it doesn’t take long for me to drop everything for him. (Funnily enough, he brought me applesauce to feed him while I was typing that sentence. Lol)

During the afternoon, I have around an hour or two where he naps. This time is used to get the cleaning done around the house that I’m unable to easily get done while he’s up and about. It’s not always a great time to record content. If I skip out on cleaning even just once, it is so much worse the next time around. Toddlers are messy and have ZERO regards for your hard work.

This brings me around to why I might charge extra for things other sellers don’t. I don’t have a lot of time in the day to do certain add-ons. I know I see many sellers that are able to “play” with themselves throughout the day, but I’m not.

When my partner gets home, I make us all dinner, we watch a show while eating, and then we get to bed. In order to have the time to fulfil that add-on, I would have to have my partner watch our toddler while I went to a different room. It’s not something I can just do on a whim, I have to schedule it.

I don’t mind taking the time to get certain requests done for wears, etc. In fact, I love doing it! My time is precious, though. So I charge for it. I hope that translates well and shows the effort I put forth.

Confession

I want to add this more personal section to give just a little more insight into the inner workings of MommiMai.

This doesn’t happen to everybody, but pregnancy completely killed my sex drive and giving birth basically buried it deep underground. Having a child just consumed and changed me. I love my partner very much, but it’s been challenging to get myself psyched up for the act.

This past month has helped me greatly. I’m starting to regain my libido. I’m finding new things that turn me on that I never knew could or would. I’m wanting to actually take my time with foreplay and such instead of just getting it over with. I feel like I’m having a new sexual awakening. It’s a fantastic feeling!

In Summary

To close everything and summarize… I charge extra because my time is worth extra. My toddler has absolutely no regard for my shenanigans on this site. I have learned and grown so much in only a month.
