From the outside, being a seller on All Things Worn can look easy.
Take a few photos, upload some content, answer a few messages and watch the money roll in, right?
If only it were that simple.
What many people don’t see is the amount of time, effort and energy that goes into being a successful seller. The photos don’t take themselves. The videos need planning, filming and editing. Listings need writing. Messages need answering. Competitions need running. Social media needs updating.
For many of us, ATW isn’t just a hobby. It’s something we dedicate a huge amount of time to because we genuinely enjoy it and want to give our buyers the best experience possible.
Some of the biggest challenges sellers face are time wasters, pricing and other commitments.
Most sellers will have experienced someone who wants hours of conversation, endless attention and constant replies, only to disappear when it comes time to make a purchase. While we all understand that not every conversation will lead to a sale, it can become frustrating when people forget that our time has value too.
On the flip side, there are some absolutely amazing buyers.
The buyers who support regularly, engage with posts, join competitions, remember the little things and genuinely care about the person behind the profile. Those are the people who make the platform enjoyable.
One thing I wish more people understood is that sellers are real people.
We have jobs, families, responsibilities, good days and bad days. Sometimes we might be busy. Sometimes we might take a little longer to reply. That doesn’t mean we don’t appreciate the support we receive.
The best buyer and seller relationships are built on mutual respect, community and trust.
Not because someone spends the most money.
Not because someone has the biggest wishlist.
But because both people enjoy interacting with each other and understand the value of the connection they’ve built.
ATW is full of incredible sellers who put their heart into what they do. Behind every photo, video, listing and custom request is a real person putting in real effort.
So if you’re a buyer reading this, thank you for supporting creators.
And if you’re a seller reading this, keep going.
Trust me, we all deal with the same struggles.
On the other hand
Being a buyer on All Things Worn is often misunderstood.
People assume that buyers simply log on, make purchases and that’s the end of it. But anyone who’s spent time on the platform knows there’s a lot more to it than that.
For many buyers, it’s about the connection.
It’s about finding creators whose personality you genuinely enjoy, supporting people whose content makes you smile, and becoming part of a community that shares your interests.
One of the biggest misconceptions is that buyers have endless budgets.
The reality is that most buyers have jobs, bills, families and responsibilities just like everyone else. Supporting creators is something they choose to do because they enjoy it, not because they have unlimited money to spend.
Many buyers spend a surprising amount of time browsing profiles, reading blogs, entering competitions and interacting with posts before they ever make a purchase. They want to find creators they genuinely connect with rather than simply buying from the first profile they see.
Another thing buyers don’t often talk about is rejection.
Sending a message can be nerve-racking. Whether you’re new to the platform or have been around for years, there’s always that little bit of anxiety about being ignored, judged or misunderstood.
Most buyers aren’t expecting constant attention.
What they usually want is simple: respect, communication and a positive experience. A friendly conversation, a genuine interaction or a creator remembering something about them can often mean more than people realise.
The best buyer and seller relationships aren’t built purely on money.
They’re built on trust.
When both people respect each other’s time, boundaries and expectations, the experience becomes far more enjoyable for everyone involved.
All Things Worn wouldn’t exist without buyers supporting creators, and creators wouldn’t exist without the buyers who choose to support them.
At the end of the day, we’re all here because we enjoy the community. We’re all horny and we love it. ❤️
