Seller Sellers’ Perspective
What It's Like Being a Neurodiverse Panty Seller

Hi, I’m curvyblondexo and this is my first blog post! Those of you who know me may know I have ADHD, I wanted to write a blog about my ATW experience and perspective.

A Few Definitions That Might Help

ADHD stands for Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder. It’s important to note that this blog post is about my personal experience with ADHD and will not be the same as other people who have ADHD, but I bet there are bits everyone relates to!

Neurodiversity is an umbrella term used for people with conditions that mean they think and process information differently, things like ADHD, autism, dyslexia etc. This is a new term for some - it’s much nicer to say than ‘learning difficulties because it’s not always difficult, having a brain that works differently can be a wonderful thing!

For me, my struggle with ADHD mainly affects my memory, my attention span and my impulse control.

Many neurodiverse people have very intense passions that are referred to as special interests.

Growing up it was really hard to find my special interests, my mum tried to encourage me to go to lots of different clubs but I would go for a few weeks and then get bored. Some things I loved growing up were horse riding and performing arts. I’ve recently graduated with a Performing Arts degree, which I think shows how hard I am willing to work on something I love.

How I Got Into Selling Used Panties

When I found All Things Worn it was because my friend was doing well selling used underwear online over lockdown, and I wanted to too! But I found the site she used really overwhelming and busy which wasn’t for me. I had been having sugar daddy arrangements before this but after one very uncomfortable meet, I decided it wasn’t for me anymore.

I came across ATW and was instantly hooked! I spent hours reading through the dash and the blogs, I was so inspired. I found a fresh notebook (because every new thought topic needs a fresh notebook ) and I wrote out pages and pages of notes of ‘key things’ and research.

Through the blogs, I learned this site isn’t just about selling used underwear, but all kinds of things! I had always been a kinky gal so with soaked panties, I signed up and got started!

To some extent I’ve surprised myself that I love ATW so much. It instantly became more than just a fetish selling site to me and became my new special interest. I half expected to be obsessed for a few weeks and then get bored, as I often do with new projects, but how can I get bored here? I chat to the loveliest buyers, get to flex my kink muscles and I’ve also made friends with some wonderful sellers.

Talking to Other Sellers is Something I Can’t Recommend More

We are such a unique and wonderful community here. Most sellers are happy to chat about their day, give advice and offer support. You don’t have to do this alone. That being said my inbox is always open to any buyers or sellers who need anything! From pricing assistance to listening to a rant about your day, I’m here.

When I first decided I wanted to write a blog post for ATW I was in the middle of exam season for my final year at uni, which was of course not the best time to take on another writing project! Once I have an idea in my head though, I just have to run with it or I won’t be able to think of anything else! Starting a new project before finishing the last is very typical for someone with ADHD - I’ll start tidying up, then I’ll remember my plants need watering, then I’ll clean the sink while filling up my watering can, then I’ll probably get distracted by something else and the original tidying task never gets done!

I was interested in other neurodiverse users on this site. I knew I had a few buyers who were neurodiverse and I wondered if there were more of us. After doing some polls and chatting to lots of different people on the site, it was clear we are everywhere!

So Does My ADHD Affect Me As a Seller?

Yes, I would definitely say so! Sometimes I’m a bit forgetful or I’m impulsive and get carried away. But I would say these add to my charm! I have a buyer with who I have a special connection with because of how much he loves my ADHD. He loves the idea of my hyperactivity tiring him out.

I also have neurodiverse buyers who like to shop with me because I understand them and will always tailor an experience to their wants and needs.

I’m sure no one can imagine me sitting still behind a desk all day, and that’s why this work suits me so well! I love being able to pick my own hours and do whatever it is I fancy that day.

Being a seller on ATW has enabled me to explore new areas of myself and learn so many new things while earning a small income. In a job where I can be myself unapologetically, ADHD and all!
