Seller Tips For Sellers
Why Aren't My Worn Items/Panties Selling?

I thought of writing this after seeing so many sellers get disheartened including myself, both new and old. There are many reasons why we may struggle to sell and it’s important to remind ourselves of those so we can keep going and stop feeling so bad about ourselves.

Newby Panty Sellers

For those that are just starting out, it’s very normal to struggle for a while. The sellers that do well straight after joining typically have prior experience and know a lot of sales/marketing tactics.

Also from what I have personally observed, they’re very conventionally attractive. Yes, I know, people have preferences and that’s absolutely fine but it’s undeniable that a certain look and body type generally does better or is just easier to do well with versus others.

Plus there are a lot of men that are insecure about what they like, resulting in them not going through with buying or even talking to certain sellers they find attractive. For example, I’ve seen several buyers that claim they don’t like BBW or bigger bodies in posts or their bio but constantly keep checking my profile.

Adding onto that, I ran a poll several months ago where I had buyers vote on body type. Not a single one voted BBW, despite there being many BBWs with sales here. There are also people that are just struggling to accept and be secure in their kinks and fetishes, leaving them too scared or embarrassed to initiate or carry through with anything.

What’s most important to remember is that you’re still finding your footing as a beginner. Even if you know loads about what you’re doing, it takes a while to understand the site and the way it operates. It takes time to build up your profile, your presence, interest and clientele. On top of that, there are now more sellers than ever on here so it can be difficult for anyone to stand out and there are only so many buyers with only so much money to spend on orders.

Long Term Sellers

Even if you've been here a while, you can still expect dips in sales. This is normal for many businesses, especially smaller independent ones, sales fluctuate.

Factors that affect sales here include:

  • Prices going up, causing buyers to have tighter budgets and less availability as they try to look for opportunities to make more so they can keep up with these increases.
  • People simply getting busy. Buyers are people so naturally, they have times in their lives where they just get really busy and don’t have time to browse and pick out things or even to be online much.
  • The Holidays. People like to spend time with family and friends during the holidays. They also dedicate a lot of time to preparing for these holidays, putting various plans in place, putting up decorations, organising food along with activities.
  • The seasons and weather. Buyers have preferences with scent. During the summer when there’s warmer weather, people naturally sweat more which affects the smell of your clothes. Winter, the colder months causing less sweat also affects scent. Depending on the buyer’s preferences with scent and sweat, they will be more or less interested in buying worn items during that time.

Am I Doing Something Wrong?

Self-improvement is great and you should definitely be updating and refining things once in a while but try not to be overly critical of yourself. Not everyone is going to like you, which is okay. We all have different personalities, bodies, items, and experiences. You can’t appeal to everyone, it makes sense that you’d put some people off, everyone puts someone off. It’s just how life is. If you’re still concerned, read the blogs, talk to the other sellers, do research and see what you can do to upgrade your profile and stock. You can always be mindful of where you can improve without being overly harsh to yourself!

I wanted to share these pieces of advice as someone that’s been here over a year now and still questions why sales go down and whether or not I’ve done something wrong. I really hope this post will help some other sellers that experience the same thing in feeling a little better about themselves along with their selling abilities.
