One of the biggest things I’ve learned on this journey is something that seems so simple… but can actually be really hard to do: Saying no.
At the beginning, I felt like I had to say yes to everything. Every request, every idea, every message — just to keep people happy and not miss out on opportunities.
But the truth is… saying yes to everything started to take a toll on me.
It blurred my boundaries, made things feel overwhelming, and slowly took the enjoyment out of something that’s supposed to be fun.
And that’s when I realised: It’s okay to say no.
Saying no doesn’t make you difficult. It doesn’t make you rude. And it definitely doesn’t make you lose the right people.
If anything, it does the opposite. It shows confidence. It shows personal power. And it helps you create in a way that actually feels comfortable and true to you.
The right buyers won’t be put off by your boundaries — they’ll respect them.
Because at the end of the day, people would much rather interact with someone who’s genuine and comfortable, rather than someone who feels pressured or forced.
And that leads into something else that’s just as important…
Being a faceless creator.
There’s this idea that you have to show everything to be successful — but that’s not true at all.
I’m a faceless creator, and that’s a boundary I’ve chosen for myself. You might see the occasional normal selfie here and there, but that’s as far as I go when it comes to showing my identity — and I’m completely comfortable with that. And that’s the key thing: comfort.
You don’t have to push yourself past what feels right just to make sales. In fact, being faceless can actually work in your favour.
There’s a level of mystery that a lot of people genuinely enjoy. It leaves more to the imagination, builds curiosity, and creates a different kind of connection that isn’t based on showing everything. So no — being faceless does not mean you’ll lose sales.
If anything, it helps attract the right kind of attention — people who respect your boundaries and enjoy what you offer for what it is.
At the end of the day, this all comes down to the same thing:
Doing what feels right for you.
Whether that’s saying no, staying faceless, or setting any other boundary — you’re allowed to create in a way that feels safe, comfortable, and enjoyable.
Because when you protect your boundaries, you protect your confidence.
And when you feel confident… everything else starts to fall into place ✨
