When I first came to All Things Worn as a buyer on my original account over a year ago, I had one goal in mind: to buy pantyhose with a scent that I've been missing in my life for a long time. That was all I wanted to begin with. It didn't take me very long to realize that there was much more here to offer than just worn clothing.
There was a sense of community that I missed while I was gone—missed it enough to risk the relationship that ultimately ended. I learned quickly here that even though many of the sellers don't advertise that they have a praise kink, I haven't run across any who don't. What woman doesn't want to be told that she's beautiful and worthy?
One of the other things I noticed very early on was that many sellers stated they wouldn't tolerate time wasters, indicating that if you were going to contact them, it was to make a purchase. There's also a warning when you go to send a message to a seller you haven't contacted before that you may be banned if you choose to waste her time instead of negotiating a purchase from her. These ladies are here to provide services, but they're also here to make some money. It is pay to play, whether you are here for worn clothing, content, sexting, experiences, or one of the many other services and products offered.
Now, how have I been able to ensure that I have a rich and fulfilling experience here?
Almost every introductory message I send is one of her listings with a short message: “I'd love it if you would wear this for me, let's talk about it.” Short, simple, and to the point.
I never negotiate a price. Her price is her price. Period. Trying to haggle with the seller is going to do one of two things, and neither is going to turn out in your favour. Either you're going to anger her, or you're going to make her feel undervalued—quite possibly both.
Be respectful of her time. I can't stress this enough. Although many of the ladies are more than willing to continue a conversation beyond just making the sale, she does have other sales to try to make and other buyers to talk to. I don't expect unlimited chats for free. Talk to her enough to let her know that what she's doing for you is appreciated, fill her praise tank a little bit, and move along.
Let her go make the other sales she needs to make. I have never asked for anything for free—not a photo, a video, extra days, or an extra goodie included in my package. Not that I have never received any of that, but I have never asked for it. And when I do receive something that wasn't asked for or paid for, I make sure she knows that I appreciate it—sometimes with a tip, sometimes a cup of coffee, or another gift from her wishlist. She needs to know that the extra effort she went to make me happy is not wasted.
In talking to some of the sellers who have become my friends, when they are asked for something for free, it makes them feel undervalued.
In summary, the experience that I get from All Things Worn is based on the experience that I give. I make each seller whom I choose to buy from feel beautiful, wanted, appreciated, and last but not least… compensated.
