How I went from translating every damn message to chatting kink like a boss… and why my accent is now my secret weapon 💦
Hey babes! If English isn’t your first language and you’re thinking about jumping into All Things Worn, let me tell you straight: it’s scary as hell at the start… but it gets SO much better. I’ve been here almost a year now, and I started exactly where a lot of you are: zero confidence in English, panicking over every message, and feeling like I’d sound dumb or unprofessional.
Back then? Pure chaos. Every buyer message popped up → copy → Google Translate → read it 5 times like “wtf does ‘goon for me’ mean?” → write my answer in my language → translate back → check for mistakes because I HATE looking stupid → send… and pray they don’t ghost me thinking I’m a bot.
And oh boy, Google Translate betrayed me SO many times. Like, I once tried to say “I wore these for 48 hours, super sweaty and scented just for you”… and it came out sounding like I was offering them a gym sock marinated in fish sauce or something. Buyers were like “…uh, what?” and I wanted to die. Made me look like a total mess more than once – classic embarrassing moments that still haunt me. Never trust that robot with dirty talk; it turns sexy into straight-up comedy disaster.
Tried ChatGPT for help too? Big mistake. That thing is great for normal translations, like emails or recipes – literally the best. But the second you throw in anything naughty? “Sorry, I can’t assist with explicit or sexual content.” Boom, shut down. No dirty talk scripts, no kinky phrase suggestions, nada. Policies are strict (even if they relaxed a tiny bit for erotica lately, it still won’t touch the really filthy stuff you need for customs). So yeah, ChatGPT -->amazing translator for everything EXCEPT the one thing I actually needed. Back to square one, crying over Google fails.
Custom videos? Oh lord. I treated them like Oscar-worthy productions:
And still, sometimes it came out like: “I wear zis panty for you… mmm… so naughty and wetty…” Cringe level 1000, guaranteed.
I was obsessed with not making mistakes. I didn’t want buyers thinking “she’s hot but her English sucks”. So I double-checked everything on Grammarly, searched for “sexier synonyms”, and basically worked twice as hard just on the words.
But guess what happened after months of this grind? My English leveled up HARD. Not perfect (I still mess up articles, verbs, random slang), but now I reply live without translating most times. No more mountains of notes. I know the full dirty talk menu by heart: edging, teasing, denial, “good boy”, “beg for it”, scent descriptions, JOI commands, humiliation vibes… the works 😈
Funniest part? ATW basically became my free dirty English school. Every kink request taught me new words and phrases. Buyers dropped slang I’d never heard, and boom – vocab boost. Who needs Duolingo when you’ve got 50 guys begging you to describe how your panties smell after gym?
The best glow-up. I stopped stressing about small mistakes. Buyers don’t care if your grammar’s a little wonky – they care if you’re sexy, responsive, and into it. Some even say my accent is hot (“exotic vibe”, “makes it dirtier”). Turned my “weakness” into a selling point!
Tips if you’re a non-native seller struggling with English right now:
Bottom line: Starting on ATW with shaky English felt like climbing a mountain blindfolded. But stick with it, and not only do sales pick up… you get fluent in the dirtiest English possible. I went from translate-every-word panic (and epic Google/ChatGPT fails) to chatting live like “tell me how hard you are right now, baby” without blinking. I'm still learning every day, but damn, it feels good.
If you’re non-native and fighting the same battle – you’ve got this!
