Hi! I’m Jess, and I’ve officially been on ATW for 1 month! I hadn’t had any selling experience before this and now I’m the top-ranking 18-21y/o seller for March. I’m here to share all of my tips for being a successful used panty seller here!

My experience overall has been absolutely incredible, I’m more confident, I’ve discovered new kinks, I’ve made some profit - but most importantly I’ve been having so much fun, and I hope this helps you experience all of those things if you haven’t already!

Be Active & Engage With The Community

Every chance you get, get online! 8 am-2 pm MST from Monday-Thursday (sometimes weekends) are when I’ve noticed the most activity on the newsfeed. Post whatever your heart desires, interact with everyone, like posts, and spread some love! Even if the feed is slow and not many people are online, make sure you get noticed. Posting only about sales and business is boring, just be yourself and have fun with it.

Your Profile

Your about section has to have information in it! Tell us about yourself, your likes, what you offer, your boundaries, etc. Your about is YOUR about, so make it about you, not what you think people want to hear. You’ve gotta have personality - in your bio, your descriptions, your photos, ANYWHERE! A lot of sellers advise you to find a niche, something specific to you that helps you stand out from the rest - I don’t feel I really have a niche but it would be helpful!

Your Shop

Get a variety of listings posted in your shop, different items, different styles or colors of items, etc. Some buyers have specific styles/colors/materials they lean towards, some not at all, but you should have options!

Cheaper listings do not sell the way you think they will, even my clearance items take longer to sell than my full-priced listings - charge your worth, do not feel like you have to compensate for lack of sales. Buyers also want to see YOU wearing your items, it’s not just about the panties but the body they came off of!

Buyers

Please don’t be a sales pusher! If you’re uncomfortable with a conversation, you aren’t required to answer. Some people just want to chat, others just want to purchase an item and don’t really want a conversation - either and everything in between is completely fine, we’re all here to have (some type of) fun.

I went through a short period of time where I didn’t want to converse with anyone - and trying to keep convos ‘business only’ made me a big total of 0 sales. I try to build and maintain relationships with my buyers - whether or not they buy from me again - and if that’s not what you want to do, at least make sure your buyers know they’re appreciated! Some buyers also have busy lives! They may not answer for hours, days, or weeks but they do want to purchase from you. Don’t overthink it but also don’t wait around for them - they’ll come back when they’re able!

Sellers

Make some friends, guys! Interact, message, follow, tip, shoutout, even buy from other sellers. This is a community, support and encourage each other!

Sales

Don’t get down just because you’re not making sales! Keep your head up and stay encouraged! Sales come in waves, some days you’ll make multiple and other times you could go days without a single one - don’t sweat it! If I gave up after my first dry spell I wouldn’t have been here very long at all.

Panty Wears

Get an actual, physical calendar for your wears - organization makes it SO much easier. Offer proof of wear pics and add-ons for them! If I’m not happy with a wear I’ll do extra until I am, obviously you don’t have to but I want my products to be up to my own standards and expectations. A lot of buyers are 100% willing to wait for a wear and incredibly happy with waiting just for a little extra extra (;

YOU

A lot of people don’t want to show their face, and that’s completely fine! But if you want to - you should. Since making my profile picture of myself, and posting pics of myself, I get a lot more interest in my profile! Make sure nothing you post, your emails, your payment methods, etc. can be connected to you, you may not want your friends and family finding them and/or you may not want your buyers finding your personal information.

Warnings

Every person is different but I personally do not go offsite! No Kik, no Snap, no Instagram, whatever. More likely than not, anyone asking for personal socials or to leave the site is a time-waster or a scammer.

Do not send or make anything before taking payment - I’ve experienced buyers ghosting as soon as payment comes up, and I’ve heard from multiple sellers that they got ghosted after finishing a wear. DON’T DO IT. It will save you far more time and worry if you just wait.

Do not do something you are uncomfortable with just for some extra $, it is not worth it. During my first week here I agreed to do something I did not want to do and I couldn’t go through with it. Your boundaries are yours and don’t let anyone push them!

Do not have sexual/kink conversations with a buyer that hasn’t bought from you or you aren’t close with. I’ve had a few of these that will message asking sexual questions and they’ll get off on that! We don’t provide free orgasms here! (unless you do I guess) Same with posting photos, don’t be posting free content!! Censor your body, or post SFW photos (excluding those feet girl).

In conclusion, do your thing and have fun! Don’t let one bad experience or one person ever bring you down - know your worth, and keep pushing on. AND A REMINDER - This is all about you! You’re selling your body, your clothes, your time, your energy - do what you damn well please (as long as it's not against community guidelines) If you have any questions feel free to message me!
