Hey 👋 I'm Emily💞. I've been in the 'panty selling world' for around 4-5 years now and have had experience selling on multiple platforms with 5-star reviews. I created this blog to help guide my fellow sellers, particularly helping new and established sellers, and anyone who is struggling.
I hope you find the blog I've created useful and that you enjoy reading it!
It all started with a catch-up with one of my besties. She came round mine one evening for a girls' night 🥰. She picked up some champers on the way over and strawberries 🥂😍. We were actually in the middle of discussing our studies at university when my dog then decided to do 'zoomies' with a pair of worn panties in his mouth that he stole from the laundry basket 😬😅. After going perhaps as red as the red Frenchie’s (well, what was left of them), I then wrestled my spaniel to release them. Well, my friend and I were in stitches! I then made a flyaway comment and said, "If only men were to appreciate the pungency of worn underwear, I'd make a fortune!"
My friend stopped laughing and gave me this sultry kind of smile, "well why don’t you? I think you would be great at it. You know there's places out there that would love to receive worn underwear! You can also make some money from it too.."
At first, I laughed and I said; “Yea right you're having me on! You can actually sell them?”
She nodded. “Yes, and it’s real money, girl!”
I was shocked to be honest with you. I'm bi-sexual and at times I have been 'turned on" by my own scent. I always had wondered if there was a market for selling panties, I just never really looked into it.
I then asked her how she knew so much about this and that's when she told me she was a seller herself.
She showed me some of her orders, discreet packaging ready to ship, and even screenshots of payments. I was floored. I had no idea such a niche market existed, I had been curious if it had, as I stated before I never really looked into it, so that's why it came as 'bit of a shock', when it turned out that someone I knew personally was thriving in it.
That night, I couldn’t stop thinking about it, curiosity turned into research. I discovered the online platforms, dedicated communities, and a surprisingly organized system for buying and selling intimate items.
It wasn’t just a quirky hustle, if anything I actually saw that as being a bit of a 'bonus', although I couldn't deny it was a genuine business model and I was excited by the prospect of making panties! The more I was researching, I realized that with professionalism, boundaries, and consistency, it was something I could realistically step into, whilst making valuable naughty connections and furthermore being involved in creating some memorable experiences and panties, of course!
One of the first questions I had (and maybe you do, too) was why? Why would someone pay for used panties? The truth is, reasons vary:
Collectors: Some buyers simply like collecting rare or unique items.
Personal interest: For others, it’s about intimacy, a sense of connection, or fantasy fulfillment.
Novelty: Some buyers are curious and want to try something different.
As a seller, you don’t need to psychoanalyze the “why.” What matters is that there’s demand and where there’s demand, there’s opportunity. Where opportunities arise you have a responsibility to follow through, don't miss your shot! You may not be so lucky to get another.
I personally love to create some pungent panties, I've actually been quite proud of the panties I've worn for buyers- they seem to like them too! It's an experience that you'll come to find and it's so much fun.
Starting out for myself was a mixture of emotions to be honest with you. I was so excited, and I felt a "scary kind of good feeling," like a new beginning, and I had no idea what to expect. When you first start, you sometimes doubt yourself and wrongly start comparing yourself to others. You must realize that you are not the same as anyone else, and your uniqueness is your superpower! Every seller that is listed on ATW had to have started from somewhere. Try and channel your energy into yourself—it doesn't matter where everyone else is, just where you are and where you're going.
The first hurdle for me was " what am I selling’? I think this depends on what you're comfortable with offering, you must always be completely comfortable with what you're selling, I would only advise this, never do anything you're not comfortable with. Look around on other sellers' profiles, see what they have listed to get an idea and then start creating listings of your own. It is important to be individual however, there's a vast amount of sellers that have put alot of time in building their profiles up and its very "frowned upon" to copy a fellow sellers bio - it also doesn't look good on you from a buyers prospective either as buyers aren't stupid and will easily spot a profile bio that they've seen before on a 'new profile', just makes you abit lazy and not what you want to perceive to be.
Be mindful that some payment methods (if not all) are 'NSFW'; you have to make sure references to payments aren't, for example, "video", as you are risking your account.
It felt strange at first, but once I made my first sale, I realized: this is so much fun and something I've always wanted to do!
You have the choice of what you want to sell; there are many items you can list to sell, although as touched upon before, this depends on what you're comfortable with.
Selling and what you're not comfortable selling.
For example, there are many different things to sell other than panties and thongs that you could list to sell on ATW.
You could list: Tenga eggs, vials, photos, and experiences-just to give you a little idea!
Photos
High-quality images make all the difference. You don’t need expensive equipment-just good lighting, a clean background, and some creativity.
I would recommend creating an email address with Gmail, if you haven't already.
As you will need to have a G-drive to store / send your content. I have previously used drop box before in the past too.
Descriptions
Be confident and specific. Buyers want to feel they’re getting something unique. Don’t undersell yourself by writing bland descriptions.
Packaging
Discretion is non-negotiable. Neutral, sealed packaging shows professionalism. Adding a small touch, like a thank-you note, can also build loyalty. I personally put alot of time & effort into my packaging.
Here’s the part nobody likes talking about: people who waste your time.
Some buyers will message you endlessly without ever making a purchase. Others will push boundaries, ask for freebies, or try to get you to bend your rules.
In the beginning, I made the mistake of engaging too much with the wrong buyers. I’d chat for hours, thinking I was building a connection, only to realize they had then deleted their account the following morning or ghosted when it came to payment.
You are left thinking, "Where did you go?" Although in the long run, it's a good thing they did a disappearing act, and you can learn just as much from a negative experience. Experience is more than a positive one. You have to remember you're on a journey yourself, and there will be highs/lows; it's how you progress from that and what you do next that matters.
(Contact All Things Worn- @admin and they can solve an issue regarding buyers or sellers.)
Remember: time-wasters are part of the landscape, not a reflection of your worth. How you handle them is up to you!
What surprised me most wasn’t the logistics-it was the emotions.
Some days, I’d feel empowered. Orders would come in, buyers were respectful, and I felt unstoppable.
Other days, I’d log in and feel drained. No motivation, no desire to interact, no interest in selling. At first, I thought those days meant I was failing. But then I realized: every business has highs and lows.
Keep perspective- this is a business, not your entire identity.
Some days you won’t want to sell, and that’s okay. Rest days keep you strong for the long run. Go light that candle and make yourself a nice bath ✨️ you need to recharge!
Expanding internationally was a big step for me. At first, I worried it would be too complicated. But with some planning, it turned into one of the most rewarding parts of the journey.
It's also pretty awesome with the prospect of having your worn panties travel the world- is it not?
Shipping a package across the world gave me an unexpected confidence boost. It felt empowering to know that what I created had value beyond my own borders.
This journey isn’t just about making money-it’s about keeping your spirit up.
When you work in a niche business, it can feel isolating. You might not talk openly to friends or family about what you do. That’s why it’s important to keep morale high-both for yourself and for others.
Other sellers aren’t just competition, they’re potential allies. When sellers share tips, encourage each other, and support morale, everyone benefits.
I’ve had days when another seller’s kind words kept me going. And I’ve offered the same to others. Building each other up makes the business feel less lonely and more empowering.
After being in this space for a while, here are some of my biggest takeaways:
